Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
An executive psychologist is a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with professionals and leaders. I apply evidence-based psychological principles to the challenges of high-pressure roles, career transitions, leadership, and business ownership. This includes both clinical work and performance-focused sessions, depending on your needs.
Traditional therapy typically focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. While I am a licensed psychologist and can provide clinical services when appropriate, much of my work focuses on performance, decision-making, stress management, and navigating the psychological demands of professional life. Some clients benefit from both. We determine the right approach together.
Most executive coaches are not licensed mental health professionals. As a licensed psychologist, I bring clinical training, assessment expertise, and evidence-based psychological frameworks to our work. This means I can go deeper than a typical coaching engagement, addressing the underlying patterns, not just the surface-level strategies.
Executives, business owners, physicians, attorneys, and other professionals in high-accountability roles. I also work with mid-career professionals navigating transitions, entrepreneurs dealing with the psychological challenges of building a business, and leaders adapting to AI and technological change.
